Exploration 8 By. Nathan N.

Part 1:
A French Trespasser to an American Hero

A dream to walk in the sky between two buildings
A goal to be a bird among the clouds
An idea that seem impossible
A strategy created by breaking into the twin towers
A complex plan with a bunch of simplicity
An obsession made a reality

A rope 1,368 feet in the air
A fearless, fun filled, French man
A crowd of people gathered to watch from below
“An echo of people cheering and screaming” says Philippe Petit
A man on a rope for 45 minutes
A rope with a man crossing it 8 times
A view like no other in the world
A call to the police to make sure there is no splat
An officer greeted to a man floating in the sky
“A tightrope dancer because you couldn’t call him a walker” says an officer
A man trespassing on a bird’s land, and the knowledge that it’s time to leave
A crime charged with 14 misnomers, but all charges dropped
A French trespasser to an American hero

This is my favorite piece of writing that i have composed this year. I choose this as my writing to share because i am not very good at coming up with good poems. I have had to write many poems throughout my years in school and I believe that this is by far one of the better poems I have wrote, the only other poem that might be better was a poem I wrote in 3rd grade about whales. I really love the title of my poem, i think it one of the best titles I have come up with as well. I am very proud of my poem I wrote this year and believe it's on of my best.

Part 2: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

I am going to share this passage from the bible with you all. I am sure many of you have already seen it before because Psalm 23 is one of the most popular sections in the entire bible. The reason i am sharing this with you all is because during this summer i worked at a funeral home and as you can imagine people often get very sad when hey loose a love one. However i have seen many times when people read this passage that have a sense of peace and composure take of their body and they aren't as upset any one. I believe that that is truly magical. I am very religious myself so I think this passage is a strong a powerful message from God that is meant to guide us and give us strength in life epically when we loose those who are closes to us.
