  2. You guys did a really good job talking about the events in Louis Armstrong's life that make him iconic. An example of this is how you explained his home life as a child how he grew up in a really poor society. Some constructive criticism feedback would be that you could have explained a little better how he was such a positive person because I think that is a really important part of his life and him being an iconic person in history.

  3. The most interesting thing I heard from your presentation was that he was arrested at age 11. Your group had great general knowledge of the subject and Collin had great enthusiasm. A constructive criticism would be that the presentation went a little longer than intended.

  4. Louis Armstrongs life was very interesting. I learned things about him that I probably would never have learned on my own. You guys both did a very good job speaking and I truthfully enjoyed the entire presentation!

You guys seemed a little nervous though! There was no need for that because you guys did really well and if you guys would have just relaxed a little more, it would have been perfect!

  5. I enjoyed the organization that your presentation had and the timeline of information was great.
I thought that you could have slowed down on how quickly you spoke, it seemed like I was being force fed with information. Maybe next time you can narrow down the information that is MOST important and elaborate in depth on that. Overall I really learned a lot and enjoyed what you both had to say.

  6. I think you guys did a great job especially with giving some background information on this person. It really furthered as to why he is so iconic with all of the things he had done in his lifetime. You guys did good at knowing your facts and not reading off the notecards or powerpoint. Your video did a great job of showing us who Louis Armstrong really was. Good presentation!

  7. I thought you guys did a great job on your presentation! You both knew your information and person very well. I did not know much about Louis besides the fact that he was a jazz musician. I thought it was interesting that he was arrested at age 11 and lived such a hard childhood. You have a very organized slide show as well.

I think next time maybe you can work on the time of the presentation. and also relax. but i thought it was overall a very good presentation that i enjoyed!

  8. I really enjoyed the presentation. I felt it was very informative. In particular, I liked the part about the scat, I heard him do it before with a commercial that was used on PBS, but had not idea that it had an official name with it.

My constructive criticism would have been to narrow down some of the key points. I realize that Louis Armstrong had a lot of interesting facets that needed to be showcased to prove just how iconic that he was.

Overall, I felt that it was well researched and that it was a topic that you both seemed interested in. Good job. :-)

I wouldn't have said this man chnged America but after your presentation I have changed my opinion. Wonderful presentation, the only thing that would have helped would have been better time magement.
