  1. Positive: A lot of facts were memorized and I was never bored while listening to his story and why he was indeed so iconic.

Criticism (Constructive): A lot of talking to place and not many slides were shown until the end. That was truly the only thing, just maybe add some more slides in to go with your talking and your presentation!

  2. I found your guys presentation really good, I didn't know much about Ernest Hemingway and I found out a lot of interesting things about him from you guys. What I found the most interesting thing to be is how he was short, brief, and to the point; unlike other authors in the era. I never knew that. The one thing that I would say that could have been better is to explain more about the photos and quotes that you showed in the end. There was a lot of slides and I think people would like to know things about them and why they were so important!

  3. Very informative and to the point. You had a lot of good background information and explained clearly his significance. I will say that your slide show was really lacking and I don't know why you had one if you weren't going to make it aesthetically pleasing, but overall you got the point across and that's what matters.

  4. Great presentation and facts about this person. He was very interesting and you guys made sure to emphasize on that. You guys did a great job choosing your photos to really convey the kind of person he was.

As far as any criticism, maybe just add some more information or slides that might provide a little more information on this person.

  5. I thought the presentation was very good! I felt like you guys really knew your topic. I found it very interesting that he lived a very colorful lifestyle. He traveled a lot and also hunted. You guys gave the material very well and organized.

I think maybe next time the powerpoint could be a little more appealing. Also explain the pictures better. Overall you guys did a great job!

  6. You guys had your facts down and that was what was important. You guys focused on his life and traveling, which was great. I think some more pictures that went along with the information would have been useful.

  7. I felt that you guys really knew your topic. I liked the fact that the presentation over all was very to the point and interesting. I did not know that he managed to have 4 wives during his life of hunting and fishing. just a bit on the insane side if you ask me.

One criticism would have been the power point, It had some good points like the quotes and the picture with him enjoying his habits. I just felt that it could have showcased other facets of his life as well like his articles or his kids.

    Overall great job.

  8. You guys did a good job. I liked how you guys had strong general knowledge of the subject. That's crazy that he had 4 wives! One point of constructive criticism was that the slides were very boring. Other than that i liked how well you guys presented and you did a great job.

  9. I really liked your guys' presentation! I have heard of Ernest Hemingway many times, but I never really knew what he was all about. I was fascinated when you guys told us that he wrote 88 stories himself within 20 months! I thought that was really crazy. But overall, I really enjoyed your guys' presentation. You guys taught the class really well! (You guys exhibited great knowledge!)

  10. You guys did a good job presenting this topic. I have heard of Ernest Hemingway but never real knew who he actually was until your project. You were both good speakers in front of the class. Even though the quotes were cool to read at the end, I think more information next time then the quotes. Other then that, good job :)

  11. I think a lot of us had heard of Hemingway, but never really knew anything about his life. You guys did a really good job at explaining his personal and professional life. I never knew that he died by suicide. The only criticism I would give is to give more information on the pictures you gave at the end. All in all, nice work!

  12. You guys did a spectacular job on your presentation!! Ernest Hemingway was really interesting to learn about and you both delivered the information in a great and articulate way. Your pictures were great and it's sad to know that his life wasn't as perfect as everyone thought it to be. Great job!

  14. It was interesting to actually understand who Ernest Hemingway was. I have only just heard his name but couldn't picture or understand who he was at all.
You could have included the beginning half of your oral presentation in the powerpoint as well. It seemed like the powerpoint was the conclusion

  15. The presentation was well done. You guys covered the facts perfectly and had a good use of quotes. I liked how you also included some humor in your presentation. Also perfect timing. Thanks for teaching us about Ernest Hemingway! Didn't even know who he was until now

  16. Best use of pictures and quotes over all the presentations. I felt the pictures and quotes used in the powerpoint really brought the whole presentation together and made it much more interesting! However, you were just a tad vague on the information on Hemingway and culd have told a little more about him, great job thorugh!
