  2. You guys added humor into your presentation, it made people want to pay attention, that was awesome. I also really liked how you talked about how the Statue of Liberty has spiritual and artistic values of the US, how it symbols opportunity and happiness, and has a feeling of national pride. I don't think that many people see this when they think about the Statue of Liberty so that was really cool to me. You guys could have added in more about the origin of the statue though because I see that as one of the most important parts. Another than that though great job!

  3. Positive: Great video to back up why your guy's icon is truly iconic. Also you guys were pretty funny and when weren't exactly sure what to say at times, improvised very well and made it seem like you guys had been practicing for days.

Criticism (Constructive): There were times when you guys resorted to your note cards maybe a little too much. Other than that your guy's presentation was very well put together!

  4. You guys were kind of funny when presenting this subject. I thought the video was a nice touch. I will say that I think you guys could have found more information that obtained a deeper meaning behind why the statue of liberty is so great. I would have liked it if you guys had organized your information a bit better. It was neat to hear how the statue of liberty was made but I think there's more to her than what you two presented. Overall, you guys were clear with the information you did share.

  6. I enjoyed how you guys added humor into your presentation to make it more personable. It really gave to audience a chance to really listen. I thought it was a good idea to show the video at the beginning of the presentation to give the audience a background of your topic.

I think you guys could have added a little more material with your presentation and not looked at your notecards as much.

  7. I really liked the video that you guys presented, it was informational and interesting. Also I love how you guys were funny about your presentation. I definitely learned things that I had never learned before. I also think that it could have used just a bit more information. But other than that, good job!

  8. I enjoyed the video. I thought the amount of information that was presented was insightful and humorous. I myself would have like a bit more detail on the artists and builders. but that's just me. My only criticism would have been to have referenced the note cards a little less.

Still, a good presentation from start to finish. Good job.

  9. I thought starting it off with the video clip that you guys showed was really helpful for us as the audience to understand the rest of your presentation and make sense as to why your figure was so iconic. You two did a great job and kept us entertained. Like Bryson said, I was never bored. I don't have any criticism.

  10. I thought that your guys' usage of media in the form of a video was very helpful because it captured a wide span of people's thoughts about the Statue of Liberty. I liked how one of the guys said, "When I see the statue, it makes me happy to be an American." I thought that quote was really powerful. I also liked how you guys talked about the design of the statue itself. I never knew that the statue was designed with malleable copper slabs that were plastered against the skeleton of it.

You guys both did very well! But I couldn't help but notice how slow the flow of information was. The time restraint had a lot to do with that I know, but maybe for next time, try speaking a little faster just so you can get all the necessary information out? I liked Benjy's enthusiasm while teaching the class, it shows his confidence in front of people while speaking. I also liked Justin's general knowledge of the subject that he taught us. I know there was nerves floating around the whole day, but maybe you could make a little more eye contact for whenever you present next? (Constructive). But overall you guys did very well, and I enjoyed your presentation!

  12. I thought you guys did a good job starting the presentation out like that with the energy to make the class pay attention. You guys had a lot of information and really seemed like you knew what you were talking about. The only thing that lacked was the video, it was kinda boring and long. Other then that, you guys did a great job at presenting!

  13. The presentation you guys did was wonderful. You guys were humorous about it, and made me want to pay attention more. I really liked how you guys touched on what the state means to immigrants and how they see it as a new beginning for them. Good job.

  14. The presentation and information was very unique. If there was more time, I would've liked to hear more about the statue's construction, but obviously there's no way to explain all that in the 10 minute time limit. Wonderful job!

  15. I thought your presentation told the most information out of all the other presentations, however the video told much of the information and there wasn't very much new information after that.
